  • A resident of Colonie since the age of five, Alvin enjoyed playing baseball at Babe Ruth Park, bowling at Red Wood Bowling Lanes, and playing basketball at Colonie Village Community Center.

  • Alvin’s first job was working for the Parks and Recreation Department of Colonie where he learned many life skills that carried on into his adult life. Alvin graduated from Colonie Central High School in the Class of 1979 and graduated from SUNY Brockport in 1983 where he had a dual-major in Criminal Justice and Sociology.

  • Alvin has enjoyed a fulfilling and long career at the National Grid energy company (previously Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation) for 39 years.

  • Stemming from the aftermath of COVID-19 restrictions, Alvin is dedicated to ensuring the success of our families. Alvin will promote the strong continuance of jobs and small businesses in our town that will keep Colonie second to none for all its residents.

  • The One Colonie Campaign is dedicated to the future of the Town of Colonie, conservation, restoration, transparency and progress. Whether it's addressing the Town's infrastructure needs, or providing support to our older residents, Alvin will actively support the One Colonie Campaign which will undoubtedly benefit and provide support to all Town Residents.
